Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to any work provided by Three Assassins Press.
  2. The client is under no obligation to offer Three Assassins Press any work quoted, neither is Three Assassins Press under obligation to accept any work offered by the Client.
  3. Client to provide a brief before any work is started so that Three Assassins Press can understand what you expect and what you need. All submitted manuscripts to be in 12 pt, Double Spaced, supplied via email as a Microsoft Word (MS Word) Document.
  4. Three Assassins Press will provide a detailed quotation including all fees and an estimated timescale for completion within five working days of receiving the client’s request.
  5. A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided along with the quotation – this must be signed and returned to Three Assassins Press before work is commenced.
  6. All agreed work will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with any other person, organisation or platform without prior agreement from the client.
  7. All agreed work requires a 10% deposit before work commences (new clients only – waived for returning customers).
  8. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total agreed fee applies if the work is withdrawn after commission.
  9. If the work is deemed unsatisfactory Three Assassins Press will rectify this in their own time and at their own expense or else waive all fees outstanding. The client must give Three Assassins Press fair and reasonable feedback on the work done and in a timely manner, outlining any areas deemed unsatisfactory. Failure to provide this within two weeks from raising the dispute will result in Three Assassins Press assuming that the work is completed to an acceptable standard and that the job is complete. All agreed fees will then be due payable as outlined above.
  10. On completion of work we will issue a final invoice. Unless previously agreed beforehand, all outstanding fees to be settled in full within 30 days of the issue of the invoice (according to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (amended 2002 and 2013)). Any unpaid invoices after 30 days will incur a £50 charge per day overdue.
  11. All contact information and data provided by the Client is subject to terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be held longer than necessary. Information will be held securely and will not be shared with other parties without prior consent. Both the Client and Three Assassins Press agree that if consent is required to process this data, such consent is requested and obtained, and both facts may be demonstrated. Either the client or Three Assassins Press may view the other’s records to ensure that they are relevant, correct and up to date.
  12. By engaging our services you are agreeing to treat each other fairly. Either the client or Three Assassins Press has the right to terminate the contract if there is a serious breach of its terms.
  13. By engaging in our services you agree to Three Assassins Press using your name, book cover or other associated imagery for promotional purposes including (but not exclusively) social media, websites, written publications and marketing.
  14. This agreement is subject to the laws of England and Wales (or the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland, as appropriate) and both the client and Three Assassins Press agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts if required.
